Theatre – Mahabharata

Theatre – Mahabharata

A Katkatha puppet Arts Trust Production

If humans are basically peace loving, then why do wars take place? Does a misplaced individualistic sense of truth and justice lead to an apocalypse for a society? Mahabharata reflects this eternal contradiction of our human existence. The performance with puppets, masks and shadow puppets looks at Mahabharata as a dynamic story and explores the inner dilemmas of 15 characters and whether each character choosing differently could have averted war? Or are we doomed for destruction?
