Lose yourself in the magic of Indian music brought alive by: Dr. L. Subramaniam, India’s best-known violinist, who has produced, performed, collaborated, conducted and released over 150 recordings. He has composed music for films such as Salaam Bombay, Mississippi Masala and Bernardo Bertolucci’s Little Buddha. He has collaborated with many renowned artistes from across the word such as Yehudi Menuhin, Stephane Grappelli, Herbie Hancock, George Duke, Al Jarreau, Jean Luc Ponty, Billy Cobham & John Surman, KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra, amongst many others.

In Johannesburg, the maestro from India will be collaborating with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Since its inception in 2000, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra has performed on some very significant occasions in South Africa’s current history. In 2010, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra was asked to record for the FIFA World Cup Opening and Closing ceremony.
